Kelp Off the Coast

A BFA Capstone Project

Following a life-long love of natural science, I first began volunteering at the Seattle Aquarium in late 2013. Since then I have learned about many creatures, their habits and habitats, and how people influence them. For this project I decided to highlight kelp forests due to their high biodiversity and vital role in many animals survival.

Kelp Off the Coast: Bio

This BFA project is focusing on kelp forests, their inhabitants and the accumulation of plastic in the ocean.

Starting as a book, this project evolved into a series of informational science based posters
